Who I am

My name is Stefano Galenda and I come from Veneto in northern Italy. It was out of a desire to share my passion for shoes that the "Venetian Masters" workshop was born in Geneva. Its name reflects some of my values.

First of all, he evokes the love for my region, the Riviera del Brenta, the cradle of shoemaking which saw the birth of its first school of shoemakers in 1446.

It also reflects a part of my character, as I pride myself on always delivering high-quality work. It's essential to me that the client leaves satisfied. I enjoy challenges and thinking about solutions rather than getting stuck on problems. Almost everything is repairable; however, I remain humble and inform the client when a repair isn't feasible or could damage the item.

Finally, "Venetian Masters" represents a whole family know-how passed down by my father, Bruno Galenda, a shoemaker from 1972 to 2002.

Since its opening in April 2015, the workshop has seen its clientele grow little by little and I can now count on the loyalty of a number of clients and among them some big names such as Ferragamo, Philipp Plein, Michael Kors, Marina Rinaldi, Ka/noa or Buzzano.

Future project:

Very soon "Venetian Masters" will offer its services in Céligny and its surroundings, on the principle of a drop-off/pick-up point.
